Love From Music City Organization (LFMC) supports children like Baby Jonathan, a beautiful baby boy who was found in Haiti on a trash heap. No one knew his age or what his medical condition was, but Shanda Tripp, the founder of LFMC, brought this baby home to Middle Tennessee so he could receive the medical attention he needs. The Doctors say, Jonathan, who was born with his kneecaps backward and his hands clenched, suffers from Arthrogryposis, which means he was born with joint contractures.
While Baby Jonathan is mentally aware, he needs several surgeries due to a condition that causes several joints to bend or curve at odd angles.
Once found in a Haitian trash, he’s now become a Hendersonville treasure. Baby Jonathan helps us understand just how important our assistance is.
LFMC supports local foster children and their families, single mothers, and our local Veterans throughout the year. The organization has given away over 2,300 meals during their “Character Dinner” night; an event held every Wednesday night in July, featuring a free meal along with a meet and greet with famous movie characters – free of charge. The nationally published, Parenting Magazine featured this event in their publication under the Top Ten Free Things to Do This Summer. These events are designed to help the less fortunate as well as giving the whole family an evening to enjoy.
This special non-profit organization, partners with other NGO’s all over the world into seven different countries, providing for the physical, emotional and the educational needs to children, poverty-stricken families, Veterans in need, and even inside America’s prison walls.
