PASSION IS RELENTLESS DETERMINATION TO ACHIEVE WHATEVER IS MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU...
Over 50 years ago, in 1964, Shanda’s parents, Dr. Don & Mary Lou Jones, discovered a passion inside them to help those in need, a ministry that God called them to. The beginning stage of their ministry they spent their time in Mexico, then later Don expanded their humanitarian work into the country of Haiti.
Shanda states, “It is with great humility and thankfulness to God for allowing me to follow in my parent’s footsteps and take hope to the hopeless all over this world.”
On July 21, 2018, Don Jones made his final trip, passing from this life into eternity. He leaves a bountiful legacy to his daughter and to people he has touched all over the world.
Shanda says, “This month of July we are feeding kids every Wednesday night, because of the love for feeding people, he instilled in me. ‘A way to a man’s heart for Jesus is through his stomach.’ The work we do with Foster care children is because of him. And of course the missions work in Haiti and beyond will continue in full force….Because of his vision to feed and clothe the poor.
Love from Music City, under the direction of Robb & Shanda Tripp, is now not only continuing the work that was founded many years ago, but has also expanded, reaching out to those in need around the world, and here at home.
